Marshmallow may have altered their world. Either Marshmallow and the Girls have become so famous that they have dedicated fans who cosplay as them, or - depending on how much time has passed between Crush Crush and Blush Blush - they're Marshmallow's daughters with the Girls. The chibis sporting the wardrobe and hairdos of the Girls in Blush Blush may not be the Girls. Is it possible that they 'crushed' their health and happiness, maybe even their presumably at least middle-class family, sometime before the game? Marshmallow's first in-game appearance is an ugly, unkempt bum living in a tent in the park.
